I provide therapy for teens and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, panic, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, self-esteem concerns, grief, and major life transitions. You may find yourself overthinking, second-guessing your decisions, or getting caught in cycles of worry and reassurance-seeking. These patterns can make it difficult to feel present, confident, or in control. I understand how exhausting it can be to feel stuck and unsure how to move forward. Together, we can begin to understand these patterns and create meaningful change that helps you feel more grounded and connected to your life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. We begin with an assessment to explore what you are experiencing and the thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, life experiences, and nervous system responses that may be contributing to your concerns. Next, we will identify your strengths and develop strategies that fit your goals. Depending on what you need, our work may involve building coping skills, working through difficult emotions, challenging unhelpful patterns, improving relationships, or gradually facing situations you have been avoiding.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Neuroscience and Mental Health and a minor in Psychology. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic, relational, somatic, and person-centred approaches, as well as polyvagal-informed strategies. My neuroscience background allows me to bring an additional perspective to therapy, helping clients understand the connection between the brain, body, and emotions.
Therapy can help you feel less controlled by anxiety or intrusive thoughts, become more comfortable with uncertainty, better understand your emotional responses, and develop tools for navigating challenges with greater confidence and flexibility. Most importantly, my hope is that therapy provides a space where you feel understood, accepted, and supported while making meaningful changes in your life. If you’re ready to take the first step, I’d be happy to connect for a free 15-minute consultation to see whether we might be a good fit.
