Build confidence, gain insight and flourish
Veritas Psychotherapy and Counselling is a private mental health clinic based in Huntsville, Muskoka and serving communities across Ontario. Veritas provides evidence-based treatment to address a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and trauma. Serving teenagers and adults, Veritas utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including psychodynamic, emotion-focused, exposure, and cognitive behavioural therapy. An integrative approach to therapy allows treatment to be tailored to the unique psychological needs of each individual.
Veritas is Latin for truth, which is a central value in our therapeutic approach. People have a tendency to mask what they are actually experiencing, subscribing instead to behaviour dictated by social norms. Over time, suppressed emotional suffering manifests itself in disorders such as anxiety, explosive anger, panic attacks, addiction, and depression. While many modern therapies focus on treating surface symptoms, Veritas Psychotherapy and Counselling believes in getting to the root of the suffering to help clients gain insight so that they can truly grow, heal, and flourish.
We offer a choice between in-person therapy in Huntsville and online therapy across Ontario. All sessions are completely confidential. Your comfort is our number one priority. Contact us now for your free 15-minute consultation.
