I provide therapy for children (9+), teens, adults, and couples who are feeling stuck and overwhelmed by the challenges in their lives. You or someone you care about might feel trapped in patterns of avoidance, overthinking, numbness, or emotional overload. Maybe the past keeps cycling through your mind, sleep feels out of reach, or no matter how hard you try, repairing ruptures in your relationships just isn’t working. You might have turned to coping strategies like substance use, self-harm, or stepping away from work or school just to get through. Managing these challenges can be incredibly isolating and exhausting, both personally and within relationships. But you don’t have to face them alone. I offer a compassionate, authentic space where you can be heard, supported, and begin to find relief and healing.

We’ll start therapy with a semi-structured intake so I can gather the background information needed to best support you. In our first few sessions, I focus on helping you slow down and make sense of the challenges you’re facing. I do this by listening closely to everything you share and offering some helpful information along the way, laying a strong foundation for our work together. We’ll also build practical coping tools to help you feel a little more grounded and safe – an important step before diving deeper into past experiences. At the core of my approach is a deep understanding of the connection between the mind and body. I believe we carry our life experiences in many ways, and I’m passionate about helping you identify, explore, and work through these patterns in a way that feels safe, supportive, and meaningful.

I’ve been providing counselling since 2016, starting out in a non-profit treatment facility where I eventually became Executive Director. In 2022, I moved into private practice, where I’ve had the opportunity to work more closely with individuals and couples of all ages, identities, and life experiences. In our sessions, I’ll draw from approaches like Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), depending on your needs and goals. I’m committed to ongoing learning and growth so I can bring fresh, helpful tools into the work we do together.

I bring compassion, curiosity, and a strong sense of humanness to the work I do, creating a supportive space where you can build self-awareness and reconnect with yourself. We’ll move at your pace, focusing on building trust and comfort, with the goal of helping you experience better mental health and a more fulfilling, rewarding life. If you’re curious about starting therapy, I invite you to book a free 15-minute phone consultation. It’s a chance for us to connect, talk about what you’re looking for, and see if it feels like a good fit. Taking the first step toward change is powerful — and it would be an honour to walk alongside you.
